Logically speaking, you need to have more than one monitoring profile, to be able to set up custom ones for specific users.
Here are steps on how to create a monitoring profile:
- Navigate to System - Monitoring Profiles on the left-hand side of the Dashboard.
- Click on Create to create a new monitoring profile.
- Specify a name for this monitoring profile in the General tab.
- Under Users and Departments to apply, select the users or departments that this monitoring profile will be applied to.
- After customizing the different settings of the monitoring profile to suit your needs, click on Save to create it.
The trick here is to have different monitoring profiles which are customized as required, then you may simply assign a monitoring profile to users and departments by repeating these steps:
- Click on the Monitoring profile's name to access its settings.
- Under Users and Departments to apply, select the users or departments that this monitoring profile will be applied to.
- Click on Save to assign it to them.
At any point, you may edit the list of users or departments that a monitoring profile was assigned to by simply clicking on the corresponding icon under USERS AND DEPARTMENTS.
