The productivity level of an activity, or of an entire category is initially preset by Controlio.
Different job roles may require different settings per activity or per category. For example, Facebook may be productive for the Sales department, but it isn't productive for the development department.
To make sure that productivity reports are showing accurate productivity scores, it is possible to set up custom productivity levels per user, or per department.
Here are instructions on how to do that:
Customizing the productivity level of an Activity
- Navigate to Reports - Activities on the left side of the Dashboard.
- Find the needed activity from the listed ones.
- Click on the cogwheel corresponding to this activity.
- From the small window that appears, firstly click on the button between Category and Productivity Level to break the inheritance from the parent category.
- Next, press on the "+" sign to add a custom field for the productivity level.
- Specify the User/Department that you want the custom settings to apply to, choose the needed productivity level, then press the save button next to it.
- After saving this custom productivity level, you may press on the "+" sign to add another one if needed.
- Make sure to click on OK to save and apply your changes
Customizing the productivity level of a Category
